Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Manager to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, staff management, and ensuring exceptional service for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in the catering or hospitality industry, with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations of the catering department.
  • Customize and propose menu options that suit client needs.
  • Ensure staff are trained on service excellence and hospitality standards.
  • Oversee event set-up, service delivery, and clean-up processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of event logistics and finances.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all client interactions.
  • Continuously seek to improve services based on market trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or Business Management
  • Relevant certifications in food safety and hygiene
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior catering or food service role
