Job Description

We are urgently seeking a Tax Consultant who is well-versed in South African taxation policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a detailed understanding of tax law, helping clients optimize their tax positions while remaining compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Advise clients on tax optimization strategies.
• Review client accounts to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting taxation.
• Assist in tax audits and communicate with tax authorities.
• Support the financial team in tax-related queries.
• Deliver seminars and workshops on tax-related topics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Master's degree or additional certification in taxation preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation or accounting

Technical Skills

• Tax Compliance Software
• Quantitative Analysis

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
