Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Engineer based in Johannesburg to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of civil engineering principles and experience in managing transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Oversee the preparation of technical specifications and project reports.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and best practices.
• Liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders.
• Implement innovative solutions to improve transportation efficiency.
• Perform regular project audits to ensure compliance with project goals.
• Facilitate training workshops for junior engineers.
• Assist in grant writing and funding applications.
• Provide expert advice on transportation-related matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• A Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in transportation-related projects

• Cost Estimation Software
