• Coordinate all aspects of event execution from inception to completion.
• Work with clients to ensure all expectations and requirements are met.
• Monitor budgets and manage expenses in line with event plans.
• Collaborate with the sales team to promote event offerings to potential clients.
• Prepare event proposals and documentation as required.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits and ensure venues are set up properly before events.
• Evaluate event success and prepare reports for management.
• Support other departments during peak event seasons.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Certification in event planning is a plus
• Event Planning Extensive experience in planning and executing various types of events.
• Budget Management Expertise in managing budgets and financial aspects of events.
• Vendor Coordination Proficient in coordinating with multiple vendors to ensure event success.
• Customer Service Strong background in customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving Ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions.
• Team Leadership Strong leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
• Time Management Strong skills in managing time and prioritising tasks.
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
• First Aid Certification
• English (Fluent)
• Afrikaans (Conversational)
