Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in East London. This role involves designing and developing mechanical systems, ensuring efficiency, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of mechanical principles and be able to apply them effectively in a practical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and develop design documentation.
• Investigate failures and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing of prototypes and final products.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and feedback.
• Assist in the development of engineering standards and practices.
• Produce detailed technical specifications for manufacturing.
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing

Technical Skills

• ANSYS
• AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ISO certification processes: Knowledge of ISO standards and certification processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools: Experience with data analysis software is advantageous.
