Health First Clinics is on the lookout for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, demonstrating both clinical expertise and empathy. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
• Create and implement nursing care plans.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families.
• Perform routine procedures and assist with examinations.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment.
• Document patient care activities and outcomes.
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse qualification with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant clinical nursing experience

Technical Skills

• Patient care planning

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sotho: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in community health nursing: Background in community health settings is a plus.
• Specialization in geriatrics: Specialized training in elder care would be advantageous.
