Job Description

As a Computed Tomography Simulation Therapist, you will operate CT equipment to create virtual images that assist in planning radiation therapy treatments. Your role is crucial in ensuring patient comfort and safety while providing essential data for oncologists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans to generate 3D images for detailed assessments.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize the treatment process for patients.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide compassionate care while working with patients during procedures.
• Regularly check and calibrate CT equipment for optimal performance.
• Document all imaging procedures accurately for record-keeping.
• Participate in team meetings to enhance workflow and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Radiography or Radiation Therapy
• Registered Radiographer or Radiation Therapist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT simulation and radiation therapy.

Languages
