Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will analyze financial data and generate reports to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making. With a focus on financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, you will help guide our financial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling.
• Review and improve existing financial processes.
• Provide analytical support to business units.
• Assist in the development of business cases for new investments.
• Monitor industry trends and benchmark against competitors.
• Facilitate training and support for staff on financial tools.
• Actively participate in financial planning meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or related role

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis
• Power BI or Tableau

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Financial Risk Manager (FRM) is beneficial

Languages

• English: Fluent
