We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a key player in our healthcare setting, you will provide expert medication management, patient consultation, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care. Your role will involve advising patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle choices to improve their health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
• Advise on possible drug interactions and contraindications.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards.
• Train and mentor pharmacy staff and interns.
• Engage in continuous professional development and education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment is advantageous

• Pharmacy Practice Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
