Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat animal diseases and injuries.
• Perform routine and emergency surgical procedures.
• Educate clients about animal health, grooming, and care.
• Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Participate in community outreach and veterinary education.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary protocols and standards.
• Mentor junior veterinarians and interns.
• Run health campaigns and wellness clinics.

Requirements

Education

• DVM or equivalent degree recognized in South Africa
• Postgraduate studies in veterinary sciences preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in diverse veterinary settings
