Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, and providing drug information. Your role will be vital in promoting safe medication practices and optimizing health outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care and medication therapy management.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapies.
• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
• Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety.
• Educate patients on health and wellness topics.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records.
• Manage inventory and order medications as needed.
• Participate in continuous professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in pharmacy practice

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
