Responsibilities

  • Conduct examinations and diagnostics on a variety of animals.
  • Perform surgeries and medical procedures with precision.
  • Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as required.
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay current in veterinary practices.
  • Provide emergency care as necessary.
  • Advise on nutrition, behavioral issues, and preventative care.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Registered Veterinary Surgeon with relevant certification
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in veterinary medicine
