Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our Johannesburg team. This role will be pivotal in managing day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring that all processes run efficiently from warehouse to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise logistics staff and coordinate training sessions as needed.
• Evaluate and enhance transportation routes and processes.
• Ensure high levels of customer service throughout the logistics process.
• Collaborate with the sales team for effective customer order management.
• Participate in strategic planning for logistics operations.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery.
• Utilize logistics software to optimize operations and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and distribution

Technical Skills

• Freight Management Systems
• Warehouse Management Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of International Logistics: Experience handling international shipments and customs regulations.
