Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care by assisting customers with their medication needs, advising on minor ailments, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy.
• Implement medication therapy management programs.
• Train and mentor pharmacy staff on best practices.
• Address patient inquiries regarding medications and services.
• Prepare and check compounded medications as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of pharmacy practice experience

• Clinical Experience
• Regulation Knowledge

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Training in Medication Therapy Management: Experience in managing patients’ medication regimens for optimal outcomes.
• CPR Certification: Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation is highly regarded.
