Job Description

Seeking a passionate pharmacist to enhance our services in Pretoria. Responsibilities include patient consultations, medication management, and supporting health initiatives to promote community well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions from healthcare providers.
  • Provide detailed information and advice to patients on medication regimens.
  • Monitor patient health and progress to assess effectiveness of medications.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with doctors and nurses to plan and evaluate patient care.
  • Participate in health promotion activities within the community.
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient outcomes.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies.
  • Conduct medication therapy management for patients with chronic diseases.
  • Provide support and training to pharmacy interns and support staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
