Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our company's risk management, control, and governance processes. You will conduct audits, identify issues, and provide recommendations to enhance our organization’s efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and identify key control weaknesses.
• Assist in facilitating audit committee meetings.
• Document audit findings and prepare presentations.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Track audit recommendations and follow up on their implementation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field
• Honours degree or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in auditing roles

Technical Skills

• Compliance Auditing
• Forensic Accounting

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA)
• Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of data analytics tools: Experience in using data analytics software for audit efficiencies.
• Previous experience in a consulting role: Background in consulting for audit-related projects.
