Job Description

As a Pharmacist, you will be at the forefront of healthcare in our community, providing essential services such as medication management, patient counseling, and health screenings. Your expertise will contribute significantly to improving our patients' overall health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and support for pharmacy operations.
  • Engage with patients regarding their health needs, offering guidance and education.
  • Review physician prescriptions for appropriateness and drug utilization.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to improve pharmacy practices.
  • Prepare and compound medications according to physician orders and regulatory standards.
  • Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and interns.
  • Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean pharmacy environment.
  • Conduct medication therapy management sessions for patients.
  • Assist with insurance verification and patient billing inquiries.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
