Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify client needs.
• Craft personalised goals and treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that enhance daily living activities.
• Document all interventions and progress notes accurately and promptly.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Educate clients and families about the therapeutic process and expectations.
• Provide recommendations for assistive technologies and modifications.
• Contribute to the development of community support initiatives.

Advantageous

• Certification in sensory integration therapy: Specialised training in sensory integration techniques for therapy.
• Bilingual ability (English and Afrikaans): Able to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
