Job Description

The Systems Technologist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining vital technical systems within our organization. You will collaborate closely with various technical teams to ensure optimal functionality and keep our systems regularly updated.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative technical systems tailored for the company.
• Conduct regular evaluations to maintain system functionality.
• Implement security protocols and ensure long-term system compliance.
• Assist other teams with technical difficulties and provide solutions.
• Provide training sessions for employees on newly implemented systems.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports.
• Conduct regular system checks to identify potential issues.
• Support the IT Manager in project management involving new installations.
• Engage with external partners regarding system improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a technical role

Technical Skills

• Virtualization Technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Scripting Languages (such as PowerShell)

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Docker and containerization: Understanding of container platforms like Docker for application deployment.
• Experience with configuration management tools: Familiarity with tools like Ansible or Puppet for system automation.
