Job Description

As an HR Generalist in our Johannesburg office, you will be responsible for supporting HR initiatives, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The successful candidate should possess strong organizational skills and a passion for improving workplace dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes and manage onboarding procedures.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for staff.
  • Advise management on HR policies and procedures for effective employee relations.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide support for performance evaluations.
  • Handle grievances and resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a respectful workplace.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration as needed.
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries about HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources or similar field
  • Master's degree in Human Resources is a plus
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in HR management
