Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Legal Advisor to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks while supporting various departments. Your role will include drafting legal documents, negotiating contracts, and representing the firm in legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with local and international laws.
• Provide strategic legal advice to enhance business processes.
• Negotiate terms with clients and third-party vendors.
• Handle and resolve any potential legal disputes effectively.
• Support the firm in transaction-related legal due diligence.
• Analyze and improve existing legal practices and procedures.
• Facilitate communication between legal department and management.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of legal experience with a focus on corporate legal matters
