Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to lead health initiatives in Pretoria. The successful candidate will drive community health programs, oversee public health policies, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the promotion of health and wellness in our communities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to inform public health policy.
• Coordinate with health professionals to address urgent public health concerns.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders on public health findings.
• Facilitate community-based health initiatives.
• Assist in budget planning for public health programs.
• Integrate technology in public health surveillance.
• Promote health literacy among diverse populations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community health or public health programs

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
