Job Description

We are searching for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support our operations in Durban. This role demands a strong analytical mindset and the ability to leverage data to improve supply chain processes and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory levels to minimize excess stock.
• Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage supply chain budgets and track expenditures.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for supply chain disruptions.
• Provide training and support to junior supply chain staff.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain roles

Technical Skills

• SAP
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Teamwork

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in supplier relationship management: Ability to effectively manage relationships with suppliers to enhance performance.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma: Experience with Six Sigma methodologies to improve process quality.
