Job Description

As a Community Engagement Manager at Community Connect South Africa, you will lead programs aimed at enhancing community involvement and partnerships. This role requires strategic planning and execution of initiatives that foster community cohesion and address social issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage community outreach programs, including training for volunteers and staff.
  • Develop strong partnerships with diverse community stakeholders.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify community gaps and opportunities for engagement.
  • Utilize social media and other digital tools to increase community interaction.
  • Compile and analyze data to report on community engagement outcomes.
  • Organize and participate in community events to foster connections.
  • Supervise a team of outreach coordinators and support staff.
  • Ensure that all community engagement activities are inclusive and accessible.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related fields
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in community engagement or related roles
