Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee our logistics operations in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and liaising with suppliers and clients to maintain service levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain logistics from procurement to delivery.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on logistics trends.
• Implement logistics software and technology improvements.
• Collaborate with various internal departments to support business functions.
• Evaluate and select transportation vendors and service providers.
• Maintain and update logistics policies and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts and discrepancies in shipping and receiving.
• Participate in company meetings to discuss logistics strategies.
• Support the Logistics Manager in achieving departmental objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination or management

Languages

• English: Fluent
