Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer with Engineering Solutions Inc., you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge mechanical systems. Your work will include design, analysis, and hands-on testing to ensure product viability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis on engineering challenges and devise corrective actions.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for better efficiency.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
• Review and approve supplier engineering documentation and deliverables.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in mechanical system design

Technical Skills

• Thermodynamics

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) is desirable
• Lean Manufacturing certification is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in FEA and CFD tools: Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
• Experience with product lifecycle management software: Hands-on expertise in PLM software for better design oversight.
