Green Feed Attendant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Green Feed Attendant responsible for ensuring our livestock receive nutritious green feed daily. This role involves operating machinery, preparing feed, and collaborating with the farm team to maintain efficient feeding practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate feeding schedules and ensure feed is available as required.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper operation and maintenance.
• Document feed distribution and stock levels using farm management systems.
• Collaborate with the animal welfare team to ensure optimal feeding conditions.
• Assist in training new staff on feed preparation and distribution processes.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate required
• Prior experience in agriculture/farming is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience in operating farm machinery is an advantage.
