Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Packers and Packagers to join our operations team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing and packing goods for export, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack products for export according to specified guidelines.
• Inspect and verify shipments for compliance with export regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate shipment schedules.
• Utilize relevant equipment for safe packaging of products.
• Maintain accurate records of packed products and packaging materials.
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo onto transport vehicles.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve packaging issues.
• Monitor inventory levels of packing supplies.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Physical fitness
• Knowledge of packing materials and techniques

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure

Advantageous

• Experience in using automated packing machinery: Hands-on experience with packing machines that enhance efficiency.
