Job Description

As a Nurse in our Cape Town facility, you will be at the forefront of delivering patient care. We need someone who is not only qualified but also enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and patient-centered nursing care.
• Observe and assess patient conditions, communicating changes effectively.
• Assist in medical procedures and patient examinations.
• Support patients emotionally and psychologically during their treatment.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination.
• Implement evidence-based practices in patient care.
• Engage with families to provide support and education.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Specialization in a relevant nursing field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Emergency Care
• Medication Administration

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Leadership experience in a nursing role: Previous experience in leadership roles can be beneficial.
