Job Description

Are you passionate about shaping communities? We are seeking a qualified Urban Planner to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have experience in urban design, land use planning, and community engagement to help us develop projects that meet the needs of our growing cities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in urban development initiatives.
  • Analyze demographic data for planning purposes.
  • Work with architects and engineers on design projects.
  • Prepare reports detailing project progress and findings.
  • Assist in obtaining funding for municipal planning projects.
  • Develop strategies for urban regeneration and revitalization.
  • Identify and evaluate the effectiveness of zoning regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or Environmental Science
  • Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban development or consultancy
