Job Description

Join our Johannesburg team as an Accountant, where you will maintain accurate financial records and assist with budgeting and forecasting. Your analytical skills will be key in interpreting financial data to improve our clients' overall financial health.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial statements.
• Evaluate tax liabilities to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Aid in risk management efforts by identifying financial discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes.
• Provide training and support to junior accountants.
• Review financial statements and make adjustments as necessary.
• Participate in the year-end closing processes.
• Help develop the financial strategy of the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree in Business Administration is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Technical Skills

• Financial Reporting

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
