Continuous Mining Machine Operator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Continuous Mining Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mining machines, play a vital role in the maintenance and operational efficiency of our equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational efficiency by effectively managing the use of machinery.
• Document maintenance and operational data for review.
• Work closely with mine engineers to implement improvements in operation.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with the commissioning of new equipment.
• Regularly evaluate and report on safety compliance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Mining Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working with mining equipment and machinery.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
• Technical Diagram Reading

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with hydraulic systems: In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems and their maintenance.
• Knowledge of mining safety regulations: Awareness of all safety regulations applicable to mining operations.
