We are seeking a diligent Paralegal to support our legal team in Cape Town. You will assist in legal research, prepare documents, and handle client communications, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.
Responsibilities
Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
Prepare trial binders and exhibits for court.
Conduct client interviews and gather pertinent information.
Coordinate with external parties, including courts and opposing counsel.
Manage the electronic filing of legal documents.
Provide assistance during depositions and hearings.
Stay updated with legal trends and changes in law.
Perform clerical duties, including data entry and record keeping.
Requirements
Education
National Diploma in Paralegal Studies or equivalent
Degree in Law or related field is advantageous
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in a legal environment
