Job Description

As a Reducing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of reducing machines, ensuring that production processes run smoothly while maintaining high quality standards. You will work closely with skilled technicians and engineers to meet production targets and maintain safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate reducing machines for optimal performance.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Document and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
  • Help develop operational procedures to enhance machine performance.
  • Engage in teamwork and communication to meet production deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compile daily production reports and statistics.
  • Assist with inventory management of raw materials.
  • Support efforts in achieving quality standards in production.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field
Experience
  • Experience operating reducing machines or similar industrial equipment is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of machine operation software and tools
