We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our dynamic Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will provide efficient technical support for hardware and software issues, assist users with troubleshooting, and maintain network systems. An aptitude for problem-solving and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage user support requests promptly.
• Conduct regular system updates and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Assist with vendor management for IT-related purchases.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve the IT infrastructure.
• Participate in IT projects as needed.
• Provide feedback on trending issues to facilitate long-term solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support roles
