Job Description

The Drug Abuse Resistance Education Officer will be responsible for educating students and communities about drug abuse prevention, providing resources and support to at-risk youth, collaborating with law enforcement agencies, and serving as a positive role model for young people.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom presentations to children and adolescents about the dangers of drug abuse.
  • Organize community events to promote drug prevention and awareness.
  • Provide information and resources to individuals seeking help with drug abuse and addiction.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement officials to implement drug prevention programs.
  • Work closely with educators to provide drug prevention curriculum materials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to promote drug prevention.
  • Maintain detailed records of program activities and submit reports as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
