Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team in Durban. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive healthcare services, manage patient care, and contribute to health education initiatives in the community.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health status and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Implement and manage care programs for chronic diseases.
• Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance where needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience with a focus on patient care

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Nursing Administration Certificate is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
