Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Surveyor to join Geospatial Solutions Ltd. in George. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing survey projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and delivering accurate results. Responsibilities

• Create survey plans and layouts for construction or land use projects.
• Perform topographical and hydrographic surveys as required.
• Assess and recommend appropriate surveying methods for various projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other drawing software for project design.
• Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced surveying staff.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure survey alignment.
• Analyze and interpret survey data to solve complex problems.
• Coordinate survey activities with contractors and other professionals on-site.
• Ensure the safe transportation and operation of surveying equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Surveying or related field

Experience

• 2-3 years of surveying experience or internship

Technical Skills

• Land Surveying Techniques
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Entry-level Surveyor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous
