Job Description

As a Box Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the box office, ensuring smooth ticket sales, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll train and supervise staff while developing effective strategies to maximize sales.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the box office team and oversee daily sales operations.
  • Design effective promotional campaigns with marketing to boost ticket sales.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on box office performance.
  • Set up box office procedures to streamline operations.
  • Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies for events.
  • Conduct staff training and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Provide ongoing support to team members to enhance performance.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Monitor the security of cash handling and ticketing operations.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends to improve box office processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Preferred degree in Arts or Hospitality Management
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in box office or related roles.
Technical Skills
  • Point of Sale (POS) systems
