Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. You'll be involved in the design, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems which are vital to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of product development, from design to production.
• Analyze engineering problems and develop solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and records systematically.
• Research and incorporate new technologies to improve processes.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in automotive or manufacturing industry

• Project Management Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of Lean principles to improve processes.
• Familiarity with CAD and simulation software: Experience with computer-aided design and simulation software.
