Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, with experience managing complex projects from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engineering projects in compliance with industry standards.
• Evaluate project proposals and provide recommendations.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Prepare and present project proposals to management.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects within deadlines.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project management within mechanical engineering

• Mechanical Systems Design

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
