Accountant

Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Accountant to join our finance team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting by maintaining detailed records.
• Conduct financial analysis to inform business strategies.
• Manage cash flow and perform liquidity forecasting.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
• Assist in financial modeling for various business projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CIMA or CA(SA) qualification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles

Certifications

• SAP Finance Certification
• AAT Level 4 or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent
