Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to support health initiatives in Pretoria. The role is essential in addressing public health challenges through education, monitoring, and intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of health policy recommendations and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with health agencies to align objectives and strategies.
  • Manage health education campaigns to raise awareness on critical health issues.
  • Use data analytics to inform decision-making and program development.
  • Coordinate public health monitoring and surveillance activities.
  • Provide technical assistance in health-related projects and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with public health laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Social Sciences
  • Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of related experience in a public health role
