Job Description

As a Ready-Mixed Food Preparations Supervisor, you will oversee the production and preparation of ready-mixed food products, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. Your leadership will guide a team dedicated to delivering nutritious food efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production process from start to finish.
• Audit production lines to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve product issues.
• Implement training programs for new and existing employees.
• Enhance operational efficiencies by analysing performance metrics.
• Liaise with suppliers for timely dispatch and quality of ingredients.
• Manage conflict resolution within the production team.
• Prepare reports for upper management on production output.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained and suitable for use.
• Lead initiatives in continuous improvement of production practices.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate (essential)
• Diploma or degree in food science, food technology, or a related field (advantageous)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in food production or manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of food production processes and regulations

Certifications

• Supervisory or management training (advantageous)

Languages
