You will also stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assist in training staff on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their tax needs.
• Provide guidance on tax compliance and risk management.
• File all corporate, personal, and indirect tax returns.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance client service.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss tax strategy.
• Research and analyze tax law changes and their impacts.
• Create tax planning forecasts to identify potential issues.
• Advise non-resident clients on South African tax obligations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Master's degree in Taxation is a strong advantage

Experience

• 2-4 years in a tax advisory or compliance role

Technical Skills

• Value Added Tax (VAT)
• Tax Software

Soft Skills

• Detail-Oriented
• Client Management

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is desirable

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with tax filings for multinational corporations: Experience with complex tax filings for large corporate clients.
• Familiarity with international tax laws: Understanding of international tax regulations and compliance.
