Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Payroll Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate calculation and processing of payroll for our clients, ensuring compliance with South African payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and process payroll for multiple clients.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records.
  • Ensure timely payment of payroll taxes.
  • Generate and distribute employee payslips.
  • Provide support during payroll audits and reviews.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices in payroll management.
  • Train new staff on payroll policies and procedures.
  • Assist in troubleshooting payroll software issues.
  • Review payroll procedures and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll

  • Tax Legislation Knowledge

Certifications

Languages
  • English: Fluent
