Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Textile Bleaching and Dyeing Machine Operator, where you will play a critical role in fabric preparation and dyeing processes while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor scouring machines to clean fabrics and linens according to company standards.
• Adjust machine settings and cleaning solutions as necessary for optimal performance.
• Inspect textiles for stains and damage, reporting any issues to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with various laundry tasks, including sorting and folding laundry items.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Scouring training certificate

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Scouring Train Operator.

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of scouring equipment and processes
• Basic computer skills

Certifications

• First Aid Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in a textile manufacturing environment: Familiarity with textile processing, dyeing, and bleaching.

• Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment: Hands-on experience with tools and techniques for maintaining machinery.
