Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time for various clients.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Conduct thorough tax audits and assessments.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Assist clients in resolving tax-related issues with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
• Provide training and support to junior staff on tax-related matters.
• Create financial reports and documents required for tax preparation.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance client solutions.
• Maintain client records and documentation in compliance with laws.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Taxation Knowledge

Certifications

• Tax Practitioner Registration with SARS
• Chartered Accountant (CA) is a plus

Languages
