Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at Local Engineering Firm, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and creativity. You will conduct design reviews, site inspections, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create structural designs that meet regulatory requirements.
• Perform structural calculations and simulations.
• Work alongside project managers to deliver projects on time.
• Coordinate with construction teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Participate in project meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor industry changes and adapt practices accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree with a focus on Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the structural engineering field

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Finite Element Analysis

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management software: Familiarity with tools like MS Project or Primavera.
