Job Description

As a Ribbon Winder, you will operate and maintain machines that wind ribbons around spools and coils, ensuring that production meets quality and safety standards. You will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our products are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities

• Setup winding machines according to production specifications.
• Ensure ribbons are wound tightly and securely.
• Keep an eye on ribbon quality during the winding process.
• Maintain production equipment and report issues.
• Participate in safety and quality control meetings.
• Optimize machine settings for improved efficiency.
• Support other production roles as necessary.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
